Week Two

We were at a party Saturday night, and i had my camera walking round taking shots to document the night, when this friend asked my why wedding photographers cost so much and if it was a rip off or not. I told her it has a lot to do with what happens after the day of the wedding, particularly in photoshop. I told her i would take a photo of her, and retouch it the same way i would for wedding quality prints and log the hours it takes. This particular shot took me 3 hours and 35 minutes as it was only taken with a single 430EX mounted on the hot shoe and bounced off the ceiling. I tried to simulate the effects of studio lighting with a reflector. She was very impressed with the outcome and now understands what photographers do with "all that money".
