only 2 photos ? manual or not it's necessary to have 3 photos : one well exposed, one with under-exposure, and a one with a too high exposure, no ?

lol no! thats for automated HDR. this is manual as in no 32/16 bit conversion, same shot taken at 2 exposures, because there is only 2 points of interest, sky and ground. i stopped down for the sky stopped up for the ground, then placed the shots on top of each other, lowered opacity to align, once aligned i masked it all to get the nice exposure, then used the curves & levels to tidy up areas. gives you more control than using shit like photomatix which gives things that should have shadows HDR and gives it an unrealistic view.

and these automated HDR's can also sometimes have 8 shots or more at different exposures. it depends on what technique you would like to use.

just wooooow....so great. It looks like the tree is standing on the "small Earth" or on a big globus and someone is photographing it from space...

Oh thankyou so much! thats exactly what it feels like when u stand on this mountain too! when u can actually see it with ur own two eyes, it feels amazing because the mountain is just small enough to see all the edges of it in ur peripheral vision, yeh it feels huge and has that spectacular view! its my favourite place!

Specifically, how is it an ass pain? Is there cream for it?

No really - I figured it should be pretty easy. Is it not?

Yeh but it stings upon application, so sometimes its best to just take ice cubes as a suppository

I used to live near there i think. Well a place like that at least. Judging by the view and sky its looking north west. Its almost the exact view I used to have. The grass looks almost cartoon-like. I'm thinking it needs red, spotted mushrooms and little pixies running round, with maybe a flock of giant butterflies in the background. Spose it would be too hard to tame the pixies and butterflies for a good shot though.

Nah its not the ocean, any water that can be seen in this shot would be that of the hazelwood powerstation pondage.
